RESUMEN | Si aceptamos que el uso de la Red está colmado de beneficios que facilitan, en gran
medida, nuestro quehacer diario, igualmente deberíamos ser conscientes de los múltiples riesgos
que entraña. Tanto unos como otros alcanzan a amplios sectores de la sociedad, a diferentes
rangos de edad, entre los que debemos incluir a los menores de edad, que se configuran como el
colectivo más vulnerable ante estos riesgos. En este artículo se pretende dar una visión en
conjunto del uso de internet por parte de los menores de edad, determinando a qué edad
comienzan a adentrarse en la vida digital, qué hábitos de navegación tienen, que peligros pueden
tener que llegar a afrontar en aquella y cómo participa la sociedad en la prevención y la protección
de los menores de edad frente al ciberdelito. Para dar una respuesta efectiva a los ciberdelitos
que pueden tener como víctimas a los menores de edad se deberá conocerlos, saber cómo se
lleva a cabo y las consecuencias inmediatas y futuras que, para los niños y niñas, puedan
acarrear.

The Minors as Victims of Technological Crimes. Internet and Minors
today

ABSTRACT | If we accept that the use of the network is full of benefits that facilitate, to a large
extent, our daily work, we should also be aware of the multiple risks involved. Both reach broad
sectors of society, at different age ranges, among which we must include young people, who are
the most vulnerable group to face these risks. In this work we intend to give a joint vision of the use
of internet by young people, determining at what age they begin to enter the digital life, what
browsing habits they have, what dangers they may have to face and how society participates in the
prevention and protection of minors against cybercrime. To give an effective response to
cybercrimes that may have minors as victims, we must know them know how they are carried out
and the immediate and future consequences that, for children, might entail.
